1. 上小下大上下相合

腰以上的大小跟肘有直接的关系,肘一收,上就小了。腰以下的大小跟膝有直接关系,膝一开,下就大了。手上跟对方合住,肘收小,膝开大,上下一咬合,力就很大。所以膝一垮就没了,肘一开也没了。好像在庇身捶最明显。
2. 过去。能过去才能转,转了就过去了。

过去首要的前提是有一个,才知道哪里是过去了。这一不能,跟着跑就过不去。对手来,你过去,两个平衡了中间就不动,合力是零。过去越多,杠杆越长。

我之前一直不懂师父膝盖一开,说是过去了,屁股一扭,说是过去了,头一低,说是过去了。现在好像有懂了。这一的时候,其实往旁边一转就过去了,因为就是过去了才会转的,不一定要到对方后。而且这样往旁边一转好处很多,又过去,又加大,杠杆变长,对方的力没了,也避开了对方让开了路。但这个转是有好坏的,有些方向比较省力,有些方向比较费力,能瞬间判断出最刚好的方向和位置,而且能转过去,是功力。

The top should be small, the bottom should be big. Top and bottom grind against each other.

The size of the top has to do with the elbow. “In with the elbow” makes the top small.
The size of the bottom has to do with the knees. Open the knees makes the bottom big.
Bind with the hand, in with the elbow, open the knees, then top and bottom grinds against each other can produce huge power. So collapsing the knees is a lost of power, opening the elbows is also a lost of power.

2.
To “go over it”. You’ll start to rotate when you “went over it”. You’ve rotated so you went over it.

You have to have a demarcation, so you know if you’ve gone over it or not. The demarcation cannot move with you, otherwise, you’ll never go over it. Your opponent comes and you go over to the other side, it creates a balance so the middle won’t move because the joint power becomes zero. The further you went, the longer the lever becomes.

For a long time, I didn’t understand when Master Chen opened his knee and said he went over. Or when he moved his butt or his head and said he went over. Now I start to understand a little bit of it. When the demarcation doesn’t move, all it takes to go over it is to move sideways a little bit. You don’t need to go to it’s back. You’re rotating because you went over it. You’ve got a lot of advantage by doing it, you went over, you became bigger, the lever became longer, the opponent lost his power, and you’ve got out of the way. But some angle is better than others, and to be able to know the best place to go and actually be able to go there, that’s called ability.

      今天跟同学练习时发现手过不去是肩向前跑了,得向下,更要向后,手才过去。同理脚过去是头没向后。师父前阵子的视频刚好有讲到。

      好像膝开之外,大腿是膝盖端向下,胯端向上走,似乎更能加强上下相合,不知道对不对…共勉!
